ReTrader is a software tool and educational service — not investment, financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice, and not a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Trading securities and options involves substantial risk, including the risk of significant loss. Please consult your own financial advisor, CPA, and attorney before acting, and use the ReTrader service at your own discretion and risk. The full terms below govern your use of the service.
1. No Investment Advice; No Fiduciary Relationship
ReTrader is a software tool and educational and informational service. Nothing provided through ReTrader — including recommendations, models, screens, analytics, alerts, emails, or any other output — constitutes investment, financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice, or a recommendation, solicitation, or offer to buy, sell, or hold any security, option, or other financial instrument. ReTrader is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner, and does not act as your fiduciary. Your use of the service does not create any advisory, brokerage, or fiduciary relationship between you and ReTrader.
2. Educational and Informational Purpose Only
All content and outputs are general in nature and are provided solely for educational and informational purposes. They do not take into account your individual financial situation, investment objectives, risk tolerance, or particular needs, and should not be relied upon as the basis for any investment decision.
3. Consult Your Own Professionals
Before making any financial decision or executing any trade, you should consult your own licensed financial advisor, certified public accountant (CPA) or tax professional, and attorney. You are solely responsible for determining whether any strategy, position, or transaction is appropriate and suitable for you in light of your own circumstances.
4. You Are Solely Responsible; Use at Your Own Discretion and Risk
You use ReTrader at your own discretion and risk. You alone are responsible for all of your investment decisions, trade selection, position sizing, timing, and outcomes. ReTrader does not execute trades, does not place orders on your behalf, and does not take custody of, hold, or have access to your funds or your brokerage account. You execute every trade yourself, through your own broker, using your own judgment.
5. Risk of Loss; Options and Margin Risks
Trading securities and options involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. You may lose some or all of your invested capital, and in certain circumstances losses can exceed your initial investment. Selling cash-secured puts and covered calls carries specific risks, including assignment and the obligation to buy or sell the underlying at unfavorable prices. The strategy is a short-volatility approach; in sharp or sustained market declines, losses and drawdowns can be significant. The use of margin and Portfolio Margin amplifies both gains and losses. Options are complex instruments — you should read the Options Clearing Corporation's “Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options” before trading options.

Any target, projected, estimated, hypothetical, or illustrative figures — including return ranges such as 8–10% or 9–12% — are aspirational and are not promises, guarantees, or assurances of any particular result. Actual results will vary and may be materially different, including partial or total loss. Past performance is not indicative of, and does not guarantee, future results.
7. Hypothetical and Illustrative Performance
Any performance information shown may be hypothetical, simulated, or derived from data you input, and is subject to inherent limitations. Hypothetical results do not represent actual trading, may not reflect the impact of all fees, commissions, slippage, taxes, or real-world market conditions, and benefit from hindsight. No representation is made that any account will, or is likely to, achieve results similar to those shown.
8. Third-Party and Market Data
Market data, quotes, option chains, implied-volatility metrics, and other inputs are obtained from third-party sources and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Such data is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. ReTrader is not responsible for any errors or omissions in third-party data or for any decision made in reliance on it.
9. No Offer or Solicitation
Nothing provided through ReTrader constitutes an offer, solicitation, or recommendation to buy or sell any security, or to adopt any trading strategy, in any jurisdiction in which such an offer, solicitation, or recommendation would be unlawful.
10. Eligibility and Suitability
ReTrader is intended for experienced, self-directed investors who understand options trading. The framework contemplates a Portfolio Margin brokerage account and substantial capital. By using the service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old, that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement, and that you are solely responsible for determining whether the service and any strategy are appropriate, suitable, and lawful for you.
11. No Warranty; Service Provided “As Is”
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including without limitation any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, title, and non-infringement. ReTrader does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any output will be accurate or reliable.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ReTrader and its owners, operators, affiliates, employees, and data providers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, capital, goodwill, or data, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of ReTrader for any and all claims relating to the service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to ReTrader for the service during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $100.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ReTrader and its owners, operators, affiliates, and employees from and against any and all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the service, your investment or trading decisions, your reliance on any output, or your violation of this Disclaimer or any applicable law or regulation.
14. No Tax Advice
ReTrader does not provide tax advice. The tax treatment of option premium, assignments, dividends, and Treasury interest depends on your account type, jurisdiction, and individual circumstances. Wash-sale and tax-lot tracking are your responsibility and that of your broker (e.g., via Form 1099-B). Consult your CPA or tax professional regarding the tax consequences of any transaction.
15. U.S. Persons; Geographic Scope
ReTrader is designed for, and made available to, persons located in the United States who have a U.S. brokerage account. The strategy contemplates instruments, exchanges, market hours, settlement conventions, and tax treatment that apply in the United States. If you are accessing ReTrader from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and at your own risk; you are responsible for compliance with all laws of your jurisdiction and for confirming whether any feature, recommendation, or product is lawful and suitable for you locally.
16. Beta and Early-Stage Service
ReTrader is currently offered on an invite-only, early-stage basis. The Service is provided without any service-level guarantee. Features, calculations, recommendations, and data inputs may change without notice; outages, delays, gaps in market data, recommendation errors, and other issues are expected and possible. You should independently verify any output before acting on it. By using the Service during this period, you accept that early-stage limitations may be material to the value of any output you rely on.
17. Governing Law; Changes to This Disclaimer
This Disclaimer is governed by the laws of [STATE/JURISDICTION — to be set by counsel], without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. ReTrader may update this Disclaimer from time to time; material changes may require renewed acceptance. Your continued use of the service after any update constitutes your acceptance of the then-current version.
18. Acknowledgment and Acceptance
By creating an account or otherwise using ReTrader, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Disclaimer and Risk Disclosure, and you accept full responsibility for your own investment decisions and their outcomes.
